NOTE: If you have any questions about this item, please feel free to message us before you buy. This is a genuine mid-century item and may have some form of age-appropriate wear.
*Because the cost varies greatly with the weight, size, and destination of an item, we can't provide a firm and fixed price quote for shipping in the shipping estimate calculator in this listing. Please provide us with your zip code and we will find a competitive shipping quote for your area. If you are happy with our estimate just let us know and we will add this cost to the listing for online checkout. Our shipping estimate will be for a door-to-door blanket wrap shipping service or white glove shipping services if requested. Delivery times vary depending on how fast we can find a shipper and how well-traveled certain areas are. We do not recommend Greyhound or a Freight service for transporting larger pieces but these are options for smaller pieces of furniture.
We can facilitate in-person purchase or pick-up during normal business hours, just let us know in advance so we can place the item on hold until you arrive (If you are purchasing a piece at Refindings and paying at Refindings we do not mind holding the piece for you as long as you can confirm a date that you will be coming to purchase/pick up the item. If you do not give us a confirmed date for pick up the piece will not be held for you.)
If you wish to purchase an item online first and pickup in person at a later date just let us know and we can remove the shipping costs in advance of your purchase.
Here is a Gunlocke "Momentum" chair (2 available) by Norman Cherner for Gunlocke, circa late 1950s. A beautiful example of American craftsmanship, constructed from solid walnut and with original upholstery. The Momentum chair was prominently featured in the Steven Spielberg film "The Post" alongside Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. Please ask in advance of purchase for a discount for buying both chairs together.
*PRICE IS PER CHAIR* - 2 available
The wood frames have been restored to bring back their original look and are in good restored condition. The chair wool fabric is in good original and would be a great candidate for reupholstering. We did add a new dust cloth to the underside of the chair seat. The chair frames sit sturdy but do show some signs of use.
