Item Description:
Here are 2 original black cast iron bar stools with a rush back designed by Arthur Umanoff, circa 1950s. These stools are designed to hug your body when seats and are very comfortable. The 9-slat wooden seats are in original condition with some signs of wear from use but are sturdy. The rush backrest is intact but does show some signs of wear as to be expected with this type of material from years of use. The metal frames are in good condition with some wear to the foot bar and both stools still have their original adjustable feel which shows some minimal signs of patina. Overall this pair would look great in any home.
