Item Description:
Here is a very nice set of 6 dining chairs by Heywood Wakefield in wheat, Circa 1958. This set is comprised of 5 side chairs model number M 1553 A and 1 armchair model number M 1553 C manufactured by Heywood between 1956-61. All chairs sit sturdily and do have their original makers mark along with a silk label. The seat upholstery is a brown pleather type material that was added in the 1980s by the original owners. The chair frames do have some minor wear to the legs from use and this can be seen in our last few photos. Overall these chairs are in good original condition.
