Description:
Here is a beautiful portable cedar lined blanket chest/bench with a black Naugahyde cushioned top by Lane, circa 1960. This piece would provide extra storage in any bedroom or use it in a hallway as a bench with storage. This piece does not have the recalled locking system that most Lane chests were originally built with, this locking mechanism works with a push/pull rather than a button on the outside allowing it to be opened from inside or outside the chest. We gave this piece a very thorough cleaning and polishing and it is in very good original condition. This piece is marked by the maker.
