Modern "His" Lounge Chair by Kroehler with Walnut Legs, Circa 1960s - *Please ask for a shipping quote before you buy.

A beautiful Mid-Century Modern lounge chair, also known as a “His” chair, by Kroehler Furniture Co., circa 1960s.

This classic chair was reupholstered in the 1980s in a beautiful light purple/blueish, heather-like fabric that has held up very well over the years. The chair sits sturdy and comfortable, with soft cushions and seat webbing that remains in good condition for its age. There are no signs of the hardening or fabric deterioration that can be common with vintage upholstered pieces from this era.

We have photographed the chair to capture the color as accurately as possible. Please keep in mind that this particular color can appear lighter in photographs depending on the lighting.

The chair has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with Pennsylvania requirements for used furniture. It came from a clean, pet-free home where it was very well cared for since new. The upholstery is in good overall condition with no rips or stains.

After cleaning, we noticed a small amount of bluish-purple dye transferred from one of the front corners, leaving approximately a dime-sized spot. This was not present before cleaning and can be seen in the final photo. We believe it may be possible to reduce or remove the spot, and if time allows, we will continue working on it. We wanted to be completely transparent and show it clearly in the photos.

A wonderful example of classic Kroehler Mid-Century Modern design with a unique vintage color and plenty of character.
