Available: A beautiful polished chrome étagère with glass shelves, standing 79" tall, circa 1970.

This elegant display piece has been exceptionally well cared for since new and features multiple glass shelves, providing ample space to showcase books, collectibles, art, or decorative objects. Constructed from polished chrome with glass shelving, it has a timeless modern design that complements a variety of interiors. The piece is unmarked by its maker.

The chrome frame is in very good vintage condition with only minimal signs of age and use. The glass is also in good overall condition. The top glass shelf has a small chip measuring approximately 3 inches along one edge; however, the chip is positioned so that it is not visible when the shelf is installed.

Please note that the two smaller glass shelves in the upper center section each rest on three support brackets rather than four, making them less stable than intended. Replacing these with two longer, full-width glass shelves—similar to those used on the top and lower levels—would provide a much sturdier solution. We have reflected this issue in our asking price.

A local glass shop should be able to fabricate the replacement shelves for under $100. If time permits, we may have the new shelves made ourselves and adjust the price accordingly. In the meantime, this presents an excellent opportunity for the next owner to purchase a stylish vintage étagère at a more affordable price while completing this straightforward improvement.
