It's not often these come along, a stunning mid-century modern walnut Zenith console, model number MN2670, manufacture date of 2-4-1966. This piece has it all, it's a solid state console that includes an AM/FM/FM AFC radio, a Zenith Sterophonic High Fidelity record player, a record storage compartment inside, and we have been able to hook up any modern phone that gives you the option to stream music through the console. This piece was originally purchased at Klindeninst "Television City" in York, PA.

What we know about the workings of this piece:

The record player works and plays records. You may need to lift the needle at some points to play, or make some adjustments as you use it, and although this is working, it has not been professionally serviced, so you are buying the piece as is. If you get it home and it stops working, please understand that this is an old piece of electronics, and it could stop at any time.

There is a 2-channel RCA “TAPE” input on the back of the unit where you can hook up an auxiliary audio source such as a cassette player, CD player, or even stream music from your phone by connecting it via a USB-C or Lightning to a 3.5mm headphone jack converter. You can easily stream your music from your phone through the piece via a cable that is attached to the speakers on the back. You may need to get a small adaptor at Best Buy for your specific phone.

The radio works and picks up stations well. The volume knob does take a little bit of adjusting, and it does not turn down fully. This may be a quick fix for anyone with the knowledge to service the piece. We did clean the switches a little to operate more smoothly, and as one switch is pushed down to turn off, the adjacent switch may pop up. This is something that the new owner can decide to fix if they want, but we are leaving this "as is".

As with most of these older pieces, the speakers do make a humming noise; this is hard to hear when playing music, but it's something to point out in advance if you are unfamiliar with these pieces.

The top of the casing was restored to remove stains, cup rings, and other imperfections. The rest of the casing was cleaned and polished to bring back its original charm. Both speakers work, and the "fish gill" style doors open and close with ease. We were able to adjust the springs on the top lid to stay upright when in use.

Just to be clear, this is working, and we would advise a professional service at some stage to ensure it continues working for you, and we are selling this "as is". So if you get it home and it stops working, that is something we advise you to consider before purchasing.
