Dixie Sunglow Extending Dining Table, Circa 1960s - *Please ask for a shipping quote before you buy.

Beautiful mid-century extension dining table by Dixie Furniture Company from their Sunglow line, circa 1960s. A handwritten factory note on the underside of the leaf identifies the wood as butternut, showcasing its warm tone and striking natural grain throughout the tabletop.

The table features an eye-catching joined-leg design accented with a caned center panel, adding distinctive character and craftsmanship. It remains completely original and includes one 12-inch leaf, extending the table from 60 inches to 72 inches in length.

This piece has been exceptionally well cared for and remains in very good vintage condition. The tabletop shows a few minor signs of age and use, including a faint ring mark near the center and a small "Z"-shaped scratch on one side. The legs display light wear consistent with normal use over time, but nothing that detracts from the table's overall presentation or requires restoration.
The extension leaf is slightly darker in tone than the main table, as it spent much of its life stored away and was exposed to less light. It also shows light age-appropriate wear. one corner of the table shows a 1/2 piece of wear from use, please see our last image.
