Set of 3 1940s Wall Mounted School Maps of States - *Please ask for a shipping quote before you buy.

This set of three vintage school wall maps features the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, produced by The George F. Cram Company, Inc. of Indianapolis, Indiana. The maps date to the 1940s and were originally made for classroom use.
Each map is mounted on a 1.2" diameter standard shade roller with a red leather edge, allowing the map to be pulled down like a roller blind and rolled back up with a firm tug. The rollers are housed in a white oak frame, with a wooden pull bar at the bottom of each map for ease of use.
All three maps show age-appropriate wear consistent with classroom use. There is a 6" darker area along the bottom of each map, while the main map areas remain well preserved. Despite their age, the mechanisms function as intended.
A truly unique and decorative set, these maps would make a striking piece of wall art in the right home, office, or study.
