This Niels Otto Møller Model No. 79 side chair is crafted in rosewood with an original black leather seat. The chair is stamped by the maker and retains its Danish Control label, a distinction reserved for the highest-quality pieces exported from Denmark during the mid-century era.
Dating to the 1960s, this chair showcases exceptional rosewood grain throughout the frame. The wood has been carefully polished to highlight its natural beauty and shows only minimal, age-appropriate wear from use. The chair sits solidly and sturdily, and the sculptural design offers exceptional comfort, gently embracing the sitter.
The original leather seat shows light wear and a few small paint specks, consistent with age, but remains in very good condition and has held up beautifully over time.
