Round Danish afrormosia teak extending dining table with a butterfly leaf, circa 1950s. This very nice and compact Danish dining table would be ideal for a smaller dining room or apartment. This table has a butterfly or folding (11.25" wide) leaf that folds up and sits inside the table. The afromosia teak was used in earlier mid-century Danish design and has a buttery look and feel to the wood, plus the woodgrain is stunning from every angle. This is a very simple but elegant table, and without the leaf it sits 4 people, adding the leaf it sits 4 comfortably for a large meal, or would fit 6 people if needed, while extending to 52.5" in length. This table is unmarked, but it did have international moving stickers suggesting it was moved by a family from Europe to the US. The table top was fully restored, and it looks great.
