World Antique Illuminated Globe by SCAN-GLOBE A/S of Denmark by Karl-F. Harig, C.1988

Availble now for ONLINE PURCHASE ONLY is a very nice Danish World Antique Globe by Scan-Globe A/S of Denmark, dated 1988. This globe sits on top of a dark wood frame with an end table below the globe. The globe rotates in all directions and is illuminated by a small bulb at the base. This bulb can easily be replaced if necessary. The piece can be moved around easily as it sits on 4 casters. The piece can be disassembled with an Allen key, and the light has an on/off switch along the long lamp cord. Cartography was completed by Karl-F. Harig of Denmark. This is a very nice piece and a rare find for this area. The globe is in very good condition with very minimal, if any, signs of wear. The wood frame has some very light marks on a few of the legs towards the base, which are visible upon very close inspection, and a small mark on the back side of the table area that is shown in our images.
