Lounge Chair & Ottoman by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates, Circa 1960s

Hard-to-find Lounge chair model 1717-RC and Ottoman model 1841-O by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates, circa 1960s. Both the lounge chair and ottoman are on solid walnut legs with ball casters to help move around when needed. We did give this piece a thorough cleaning and it is free from stains or tears in the fabric. The piece sits sturdily and glides on casters as it should. The casters do show some small signs of patina from age. We believe this piece was reupholstered during a remodel of the owner's home in the 1980s to match their decor of the time. The fabric color is a light shade of pink, and the tags were lost during the reupholstery process. The foam is good on the cushions and almost all of the chair; the back does feel a little crunchy, but with the pillows in place, this cannot be felt. Foam will do this over time, and as 90% of the piece is good, we do not feel this will pose an issue. We are sure of its authenticity from provenance and it matches the details in Craft Associates' original brochure.
