Description:
Pfaltzgraff #488-M Red-Orange Pitcher in great condition with no cracks or chips. *A small cluster of little black dots seem buried in the glaze, so these seem like a production flaw rather than something after the fact. This can be seen highlighted in the last photo. Estimating 1930's based on provenance and bottom stamp, made right here in our hometown of York, Pennsylvania. These are becoming increasingly harder to find, especially in such good condition for their age. Approximately 7" wide and 8" long from handle to spout. Hand washing is strongly recommended for longevity. Please see photos for condition and decide for yourself as all sales are final.
*FUN FACT - The glaze is strikingly similar to the red glaze found on early Fiesta ware piecers and would complement them nicely if you were a collector of older 1940's Fiesta ware.
*When comparing our listing to other listings, please remember ours includes FREE SHIPPING!
