Item Description:
Here is a very nicely restored draw-leaf surfboard-shaped dining table made in Denmark from teak wood in the 1960s. This table has two 18" long leaves that pull out from each side to extend the table to a total length of 84" making this table the perfect size for a smaller dining room or apartment. The table top was restored to match its original look/feel, removing any marks or scratches. The table sits sturdily and its cantilever design allows for one or both leaves to be pulled out for use. The tabletop grain is book-matched to the leaves which gives a beautiful look when extended. All 4 legs were cleaned to remove any marks and signs or use. The outside of the table frame (the apron that goes around the table directly under the tabletop) was also cleaned and oiled to bring back its original appearance, on the inside of the frame there is some veneer peeling, this is small and can not be seen but we wanted to point this out in our last image.
