Item Description:
Now for your viewing pleasure is a set of six (6) bentwood dining chairs by Thonet, circa 1970s. All six chairs have armrests that measure just under 18" high and these chairs are made from solid oak with a newly upholstered green velvet fabric on each seat. The light oak wood tone and bentwood design make these chairs very appealing for any styled home and blend well with modern furniture. Each chair was made in York, PA at the Princess Street Thonet factory and they are all stamped with the company's logo.

We put each chair through our full inspection program, we tightened all joints where necessary, and some of the curved edges on each chair were either worn or the wood was splintering a little from age so we get these smoothed out. On one or two of the armrests, you can see a little line where we got the wood to sit back to its normal look/feel, they may be a slightly lighter shade where we sanded them and we will do our best to showcase this in our images. Each seat was removed and reupholstered in a new green velvet fabric and sanitized/tagged per PA law. Overall each chair sits sturdily and is comfortable. Each chair leg was cleaned thoroughly to remove any marks from use over the years and they all came out looking great. The caning on each backrest is in great condition for its age without any issues to note. Thank you for looking and please reach out if you have any questions on this item!
