Item Description:
Here is a very nicely restored walnut "Magic Cube" 6 table set by Poul Nørreklit for E. Pedersen & Søn AS of Denmark, c.1960s. This piece retains its original label, maker's stamps, and patent number underneath the bottom table. This piece was designed for all six end tables to sit inside each other and make one six-sided walnut cube table that can be used as an end table or coffee table. When each piece is placed carefully in line with the dot marking system noted under each table it locks together as a single piece that can be lifted/moved without issue. The top table has a small round hold with a flexible piece of wood that presses down to let you pull the top table out and unlock the set.
We gave each table a thorough cleaning and restored the tops on each piece to bring back a consistent walnut finish as close to the original look as possible. There were some minor repairs done to the table corners over the years but they all blended well with very minimal signs of wear. Overall this piece is one of the best-conditioned pieces we have found online and for the first time in over a decade, we have found one with all it's original pieces.
