Item Description:
Here is a very rare dining table by Drexel Furniture Company for their hard-to-find Composite line, circa 1961. This beautifully crafted walnut table features an exceptionally nice round table that measures 44" in diameter with a unique book-matched walnut wood grain that goes around the entire table. This table comes with 2 large apron leaves and when inserted into the table extends it to 80" long. The wood grain on each leaf goes straight across allowing for some contrast in the design. When fully extended this table seats 8 comfortably making it perfect for a smaller dining area with room to expand when entertaining. This table was meticulously cared for over the years and was covered for its entire life. There is one small 1/4 size mark on the tabletop finish and a small touchup made by the original owner on the edge, both of which can be seen in our images. This table features metal rails that allow it to expand and stay sturdy without any dipping in the center. Please reach out if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
