Item Description:
Here is a very nicely restored walnut coffee table by Bassett Furniture Co., circa 1960s. This table retains its original bases, we gave the base a thorough cleaning and polishing to bring back their original look/feel. We also went a step ahead and replaced all dowel joints in the table base, glued and clamped it to ensure it sits sturdily. The tabletop was stripped down to its bare wood, sanded out any imperfections from use, and finished with a walnut stain along with a durable lasting finish that brought out the original walnut grain and it looks very nice. There is one small nick in the tabletop that is pointed out in our last image. Overall this table is in good restored condition and available now for viewing at our showroom on the 2nd floor of Bootleg Antiques in Columbia, PA.
