Item Description:
Here is a beautiful atomic-era green upholstered sofa by Rowe Furniture Corporation of Salem, Virginia, with its original order tag dated February 19th, 1965. This piece was built to last and sits sturdily with comfort. The foam all seems to be in decent condition without any notable disintegration for its age. We did give this piece a thorough cleaning to preserve the original fabric. The fabric is overall in good condition without any major stains or tears to note. There are a few spots that show some minor wear that can be seen in our images. To sum up, the fabric is in good presentable condition and should hold up for many years to come but this piece would make an excellent candidate for reupholsteing down the road. This sofa does have a center leg to provide extra support and we did add a new dust cloth to the underside. The sofa does retain its original maker's label.
