Item Description:
Here is a very cool vintage metal and wood dining table with 6 chairs by Daystrom, circa 1950s. Acquired from the original owner's estate where it was very well cared for since new. The table was covered with a protective cloth since it arrived in the family home. The tabletop is made from solid wood with a grey faux wood veneer and it is in exceptionally good condition for its age. The table does come with two leaves. The table legs can be folded to make it easier to ship/transport. This set comes with 5 side chairs and one armchair. All of the chairs are black coated metal with their original finish, and at least two of the tops of the backs have some wear which can be seen in our last image. The armchair was reupholstered to blend with the era. All chairs and the table sit sturdily, the table holds 6 chairs well without leaves, one leaf works well and when two are added the table dips slightly in the center due to the wooden rails of the 50s era. Overall this dining set is in good condition with minimal signs of wear. Please reach out if you have any further questions and thanks for looking!
