Item Description:
Here is a nicely preserved oiled walnut glass-shelved breakfront china hutch and curved walnut base by Young MFG. Co., circa 1960s. This piece is in good condition for its age, we did give the piece a thorough cleaning and oiling to bring out its original clean modern look. The curved base sets this piece apart from other designs from the mid-century era and the size allows for lots of display space and hidden storage below. Each glass shelf has a plate rail along with a light on the top to illuminate all your special pieces. The top of the base is in very good condition if it were to be used separately from the top. This piece sits sturdily and is in good overall condition. The large breakfront doors on the top piece open and close easily. The base has a small repair on the top back that is about 3" in length and it is not very noticeable. This piece is signed on the back by the maker.
