Description:
Pyrex Butterprint #503 Refrigerator dish and lid with a 1.5 quart capacity. Very good condition with no cracks or chips. *On the underside interior rim of the lid, there is a slightly rough edge in one corner when you rub your finger against it, but it is so faint, we couldn't get it to photograph to highlight. Color is vibrant on base with no signs of dishwasher wear or hard use. Great for display or everyday use. Use it as a refrigerator storage dish as intended or this also makes a great casserole dish for smaller recipes like fudge, brownies, or a smaller 2 person meatloaf. ***PLEASE NOTE - This has the FIRST generation style lid with the "smooth band" in the center. In the 1950's, Pyrex was in the middle of changing the lid design from the smooth center band to the fully ridged style in later years. Butterprint pattern was debuted around the same time as this lid design change, so it's perfectly chronologically/aesthetically appropriate that some Butterprint pieces would have the old style lid.
