Item Description:
Here is a very nicely restored walnut chest of drawers (model 6130-40) by Broyhill for their Brasilia line, circa 1960s. This 4-drawer chest by Broyhill needs no introduction and the restoration turned out very well so there are very minimal items to note on the condition. During the restoration process, we inspected the piece thoroughly for any structural issues, we cleaned the piece inside and out before deciding what steps were next in our process. The original finish on this piece was too far gone so we gave this piece a complete restoration, stripping down to the bare wood, sanding, and then adding a walnut toner to bring out the beautiful woodgrain throughout. We then added a durable finish to protect the piece for many years to come. All drawer pulls were cleaned before being given a light polish with some steel wool to bring back their shine without damaging their integrity. The only notes on the restoration are a small nick/dent in the wood in the bottom left corner of the front edging that we will point out in our last image. Overall this piece is in good restored condition and retains its original markings. Please reach out if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
