Shipping:
*Because the cost varies with an item's weight, size, and destination, we can't provide a firm and fixed price quote for shipping in the shipping estimate calculator in this listing. Please provide us with your zip code and we will find a competitive shipping quote for your area. If you are happy with our estimate just let us know and we will add this cost to the listing for online checkout. Our shipping estimate will be for a door-to-door blanket wrap or white glove shipping service if requested. Delivery times vary depending on how fast we can find a shipper and how well-traveled certain areas are. We do not recommend Freight service for transporting larger pieces but these are options for smaller pieces of furniture.
Item Description:
Here is a very nicely preserved vintage Columbia 3-speed "Banana" seat bike, circa 1960s. This bike is all original, we did give this piece a thorough cleaning and polishing to bring back its original look as best as possible. Manufactured in Westfield, MA, this bike still retains its original tags. There are some small nicks in the paint here and there but overall it has held up very well over the years. The tires we believe to be original and are holding air well and the piece works well. The front lamp was not tested but it seems to have everything in order, the seat is a little off-white now but there are no rips or tears. The piece retains what seems to be an aftermarket speedometer, we did not test this and as it was an add-on it can easily be removed. There is a small part of the chain cover that is worn from the pedals rubbing on it overtime. Overall this bike is in good unaltered condition for its age. Please see our images for more details and reach out anytime if you have questions. Thanks for looking!
