Item Description:
Here is a very cool turquoise-color metal medical cabinet by Simmons Furniture Company, circa 1940s. This medical cabinet would have been used in a hospital as a bedside table or at a nurse's station to tend to patients in the 1940s era. The back has a towel rail and when the main door is opened a large metal hoop can be pulled out to hold a wash basin. This piece is stamped by the maker on the back and does show some patina around the doors and legs from age. The Formica top remains in pretty good condition and apart from a few scratches that can be seen in our images the piece is sturdy and looks great for its age.
