Item Description:
Here is a nicely preserved walnut 5-drawer chest, circa 1960s. This piece hosts 3 large drawers on the bottom with sculpted walnut pulls and then 2 smaller drawers hidden behind the doors on the top level. This piece would provide lots of storage for any bedroom while showcasing some popular modern design features. The top of this piece is a faux wood and is ideal for everyday use without worrying about damaging the top. This piece does have some wear from use towards the base but overall it is solid and in good original condition. We did give this a good cleaning and polishing to bring out its original features. Although unmarked this piece was most likely locally made and possibly by Thonet who had a factory in the area. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions and thanks for looking.
