Item Description:
Here is a beautifully restored extra-long walnut bench/cocktail table, circa 1960s. This table/bench was expertly designed and the quality of wood used is in line with that of Founders pieces from the same era. We were unable to find a reference to this in any Founder's catalogs however we have found found pieces from Founders Patterns 17-18 with similar legs and the tabletop is a match to other pieces we have identified in the past but we can not confirm this 100% as of now. Founders or not this piece is a very great example of modern American design and sitting at just over 6 feet long it would make a statement in any home. We cleaned the top and frame before lightly sanding the top and oiling to bring out its original oiled look. We did add a durable finish to protect the piece for future use.
