Item Description:
Here is a beautifully restored walnut Harvest Table model 42355 by Jack Cartwright for Founders, circa 1960s. This piece oozes quality and showcases a spectacular walnut wood grain throughout. Designed by Cartwright as part of his Patterns 7 line for Founders. This table showcases the simplicity of modern design and the finest quality of products available during the mid-century era. This Harvest Table measures 6' long and 2' deep when used as a sideboard and opens to 6' x 4' when needed for entertaining a large gathering. The solid walnut legs on this piece are on casters which were added after it was originally purchased to help move the table into place when it is needed for dinner.
The tabletop and legs on this piece were stripped down to the wood, lightly sanded, and oiled to bring out the spectacular woodgrain. A durable finish was applied later to ensure the piece holds up for long-term use. Overall all the tabletop is in very good restored condition with minimal signs of use on the top, the edge banding does show some signs of wear and we have highlighted this in our last image, please reach out if you would like any more detailed images and we will be happy to send them to you. This table sits sturdily and overall is in good restored condition. Thanks for looking!
