Item Description:
Here is a beautiful fully restored draw-leaf Danish teak extension dining table, circa 1960s. This table does retain its Danish Control mark that was afforded to the finest Danish pieces exported from Denmark. The darker teak wood showcases an exceptional woodgrain throughout the piece and flows through to each leaf when extended. The leaves are slightly darker in shade and slide in and out from under the tabletop when needed. The table frame and legs are also made from solid teak wood, generally, the frame is a solid wood with teak veneer to match the rest of the table so although this piece is not marked it is off the quality we have seen from Møller dining tables in the past. The original owners put a heavy coat of shellac on the top which did protect the table but to bring out the real beauty we had to remove this finish, sand it down (tabletop, legs, and leaves), and add a new long-lasting durable finish. This table is in good restored condition and ready for the next 50+ years. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
