Item Description:
Here is a (one) very nice rattan hoop chair with a cast iron base, circa 1960s. This chair sits sturdily and they are surprisingly comfortable. The wicker or rattan making up the cone seat is in decent condition for its age with some minimal breaks in the rattan that do not affect the stability or function of this chair. The edges do have some darker spots that can be seen in our photos from age and use. The cast iron frame shows some patina from age and we left that as is. We did add new caps to the feet on each chair leg that look age-appropriate. Overall this chair is in good original condition and would make a great addition to any home.
