Item Description:
Here is a very nice and hard-to-find Pull-Up Chair model M 569 C by Heywood Wakefield, circa 1951. Manufactured from 1951-59 this upholstered chair showcases solid birch arms and legs. The seat is a spring-loaded cushion which is typical of that period and the piece sits sturdily. We did clean up the fabric and it is in decent condition for its age. The armrests were tightened and cleaned up with some polish to bring out their original shine. The exposed birch wood does show some signs of age mostly along the bottom of the legs that can be seen in our photos. Overall this is a nice piece from Heywood Wakefield.
