Here is a nicely restored pair (2 tables) of two-level end tables by Lane for their Cameo Group, circa 1961. This collection has the unique quality of blending beautifully into either contemporary or traditional surroundings. The styling is simple and features gracefully contoured edges suggesting Scandinavian influence. The "Cameo" collection features beautifully grained walnut in a rich oil finish The Pecan wood is recessed and contrasts nicely with the walnut panels on each table. Both tables have been thoroughly cleaned and polished while the tops were stripped and refinished in a complimentary stain to bring out the wood grain. Both tables are heavy and sit sturdily.
