*Because the cost varies with an item's weight, size, and destination, we can't provide a firm and fixed price quote for shipping in the shipping estimate calculator in this listing. Please provide us with your zip code and we will find a competitive shipping quote for your area. If you are happy with our estimate just let us know and we will add this cost to the listing for online checkout. Our shipping estimate will be for a door-to-door blanket wrap or white glove shipping service if requested. Delivery times vary depending on how fast we can find a shipper and how well-traveled certain areas are. We do not recommend Freight service for transporting larger pieces but these are options for smaller pieces of furniture.
Here is a very nice 39.5" wide credenza with an open-top display hutch by Milo Baughman for Drexel, circa 1950s. This piece was designed by Milo Baughman for Drexel's "New Todays LIving" line in the 1950s. Crafted from elm wood and showcasing a very clean simple design with superior quality throughout the piece. The dogbone-shaped door pulls are a unique feature on this line and are just enough to keep the simplicity of the piece intact. We did polish the pulls and one door pull has a slightly lighter tone than the other which you can see in our photos. We did restore the base top and sides to remove some wear to the finish and we brought it back as close as possible to its original look. Both doors open/close very well and the interior drawer glides with ease. There are a few light marks on the interior bottom portion from use (see photos). The open-top display does have a plate rail on each level and does show some light signs of wear which we have pointed out in our photos. Overall this two-piece credenza with an open-top display hutch is in good restored condition, it sits sturdily, and both pieces are marked with the maker and the "New Todays Living" line. Please reach out if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
