Description:
Here is a very nice restored set of six (6) walnut dining chairs #6140-84 & #6140-85 by Broyhill Premier for their Brasilia line, circa 1960s. This set of six walnut dining chairs are in very good restored condition and each chair retains its original almost 60-year-old fabric which is in remarkable condition for its age. This set comprises of one (1) Arm Chair and two (5) Side Chairs. Two of the chairs could use new foam to provide a little extra cushion but we decided not to remove the original fabric as it is in such great condition. Two side chairs show a very small bit of fading in a certain light, which can be seen in our last photo. Each chair was taken apart, stripped, sanded, new dowels added where necessary, reglued, clamped, sanded again and a new walnut finish was applied to match their original look. All chairs sit sturdily. This was a larger project and we are happy with the way each chair turned out. These chairs would be a great addition to any home, especially a collector, as the original fabric often does not come up in this condition.
