Description:
Here is a beautiful pair of tall slim armoires by Henredon for their "Scene One" collection, circa 1970s. The Henredon name is synonymous with high quality and these pieces showcase their work at its best. The walnut shade of wood pops alongside the bright brass hardware and these armoires stand so tall that commands attention from every angle. Each armoire base has 4 height-adjustable feet inside the platform base to ensure they sit level and sturdy. The interior top portion has 4 compartments for holding your best garments and above that are 2 height-adjustable shelves. The bottom compartment has 3 deep drawers, allowing for ample storage (all drawers operate smoothly). This pair of tall slim armoires would look amazing on either side of a bed or in any room for extra storage. The brass hardware does show some patina from age and are all in good working order. Each backing is unfinished solid wood which adds to the weight and strength of each piece. There are a few light scratches on one side of one armoire which can be seen in our 2nd last photo and 2 small pinky nail-size nicks that can be in our last photo. We thoroughly cleaned and polished both pieces to return to their original look. The top interior door latches were replaced to ensure they are all in good working order. Overall these armoires are in good original condition with some minor signs of wear from age.
