Description:
Fiestaware Rose 14.25" Chop Plate. Collectors often round up and refer to this as the larger 15" chop plate, but it is more precisely 14.25" in diameter. It is becoming much more difficult to find this size, this color, AND this condition. Lesser quantities of the chop plate were produced in the 50's colors such as rose in comparison to the original 6 colors. No cracks or chips and some minor utensil wear faint enough that we could not get the camera to focus on. Very small pinhead glaze flaw where color is absent on the outside border of the top of the plate which can be seen in the last photo, but it is extremely small. Minor glaze flaws underneath where it would have sat on the drying racks/pins when it was produced. Great for display or use everyday. Hand washing strongly recommended for longevity.
