Description:
Here is a beautiful walnut china hutch by Broyhill Premier for their popular Brasilia line, circa 1960s. This piece consists of a large glass and walnut breakfront hutch top which sits on the smaller Brasilia credenza as a base. This piece shows some of the best designs for American furniture from the mid-century era. Both pieces were cleaned/polished to bring back their original shine and show some minor signs of wear. The large walnut doors do take a little extra care to open and close, which is common with this piece and we did remove the glass for cleaning and ensured they were reattached tightly. The top of the credenza (base) was restored to match its original look and can be used separately from the breakfront top if desired. The left door on the base does have a pinky size crescent moon-shaped ding that can be seen in our last photo. The right under corner on the top of the base had a small nick that was blended to match the rest of the top, this is not very noticeable but in the interest of transparency, we wanted to point that out. Each drawer pull shows some form of patina from age and all drawers open/close with ease. The original adjustable feet were replaced with new feet to help level this piece on uneven floors. Overall this piece is in good clean restored condition.
