Antique Cast Iron Boston Terrier Dog Door Stop

Description:
Antique Cast Iron Boston Terrier Dog Door Stop. Approximately 9" tall and 9" long. Great for display and use to hold open any door of the house! No cracks or breaks. Obviously, there is some age appropriate wear/color loss but is quite good condition for being original and NOT repainted. This door stop has ONE old flat head screw holding the front and back together. Some of the dogs we've seen on Etsy have 2 screw in the back, some 1 like ours. We do not know the difference or who made which as we are not heavily versed/educated on antique case iron pieces. However, based on provenance, I fully believe this to be 50-60+ years old and NOT a reproduction. This came from the estate of a 90+ year old couple with a nearly untouched "time capsule" home. This is all based on provenance and we do not make guarantees on its age, only what we have learned/observed. Please see photos for condition and decide for yourself.
