Item Description:
Here is a nice set of 6 dining chairs model #7171 (4 side chairs & 2 armchairs) in rosewood by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Mobelfabrik, circa 1960s. Constructed from solid rosewood and upholstered in a nubby cranberry-colored fabric. All 6 chairs have the makers mark alongside the Danish control label given to only the best Danish-made pieces. All chairs are in good overall condition and have been polished to bring back their original shine. The original owner did add some wood filler on two screw holes (1 in an armchair and 1 in a side chair) instead of button plugs which do blend in with the rosewood but we wanted to mention that in advance. The chair fabric is clean and usable without any major issues but could use an update down the road and at that stage, the button plugs would be replaced during the upholstery process. (You can see the button plug in our last photo.) One side chair does have some minor repair work by the original owner at the bottom of one leg which is not noticeable in photos but we also wanted to point that out in advance of purchase.
