Item Description:
Here is a very nice set of 6 chrome framed dining chairs with caned backrests and comfortable upholstered seats, circa late 1960s. All six chairs sit sturdily and the seat fabric/foam is in good condition for their age without any rips or stains to note. These chairs do not retain their original labels but we have found similar sets attributed to Milo Baughman. The chair frames are of high quality and the end caps are welded smooth similar to pieces by Knoll. 2 of the chairs are similar in looks to the other 4 but these 2 have aluminum end caps added at the top of the frames along with screws entering from the side of the frame to hold the caned backrest rather than from the back like the other 4, see our last photo for details. We did give all 6 chairs a thorough inspection and cleaning, the chrome frames do show some very minimal signs of age but overall this set of 6 chairs is in good original condition.
