Description:
Here is a lovingly restored round extension dining table by Kipp Stewart for Drexel, circa 1960s. This dining table was designed as part of Drexel's Declaration line which premiered in the 1960s. This piece showcases some of the finest walnut wood grain ever used in the mid-century era. The table has a latch on either side and once opened you can insert the one large leaf that will extend the tabletop to 66" in length. A perfect table for an apartment or smaller dining room, when in round form will seat 4 and when extended will seat up to 6. This table was stripped down, sanded thoroughly, and restored with a durable finish which also allows for the original beauty of the wood grain to be seen clearly. This piece shows some minimal signs of use and is in overall very good condition.
