Item Description:
Here is a very nice walnut server with a breakfront hutch top by Broyhill Premier for their Saga line, circa 1960s. This piece showcases the saga signature lines and stars on both the top and bottom pieces. Offering lots of room for displaying your favorite pieces along with hidden storage behind the closed doors on the base. We did give this piece a good cleaning and polishing to bring back its original shine along with restoring the top of the server which can be seen in our photos. This particular piece is an early production with wooden drawer rails and holes in the server top for attaching the breakfront top. You may notice in our photos that we add furniture pads to the underside of the breakfront hutch top which raises this part a little higher from the server, this is to ensure the server top does not get scratches and the new owner can remove them when in place if desired. The original drawer pulls were very worn so we did give them a cleaning which removed what was left of the original faux wood center, but they are clean and look nice with the piece. Overall this piece is in good condition.
