Presumably rare art pottery vase by Janet Broderick, sister of famed actor Matthew Broderick. Very little information was available to us when researching. Apparently, after graduating college, she had a pottery studio/shop in New York's Greenwich Village. We don't know how long the shop was open but we also found in our research that she eventually became ordained as an Episcopal Priest in the late 1980's/early 90's. Based on our research, we believe the vase to have produced sometime in the 1970's. If anyone has information to the contrary, please feel free to message us privately as we'd love to learn more.

Vase is in great original condition with no cracks or chips. Stands at approximately 8" tall and 5" wide. When prepping this piece for cleaning and photos, we did find an original business card of Janet's which further authenticates its provenance in addition to a signature of "Broderick" on the underside.

We don't like to use the word rare unless we genuinely feel it's warranted, but we can not find another single example of one of her pieces for sale on any website much less any sort of archive reference.

Great for display or everyday use. Please see photos for condition and decide for yourself as all sales are final. Thanks!
