Description:
Here is a beautifully restored solid walnut armchair manufactured by Thonet Industries INC. of NYC, circa 1960s. This armchair sits at 18" high, which is a few inches higher than most armchairs and it is very comfortable. The cushions were replaced by the original owner over the years, they are not the most exciting in color but are without any major flaws to point out. The new owner may opt for new cushions to match their home decor so we decided to leave them as-is on this piece. We did go over this chair in detail and restored the frame to keep its original look. The brass caps on each leg do show some patina as expected from age. Overall this chair is in good restored condition and retains the original manufacturers label underneath.
