Circa 1951-1959: It is the rich vintage 50s forest green that speaks the loudest of the 50s colors - as bold as the original cobalt blue, dark and luscious. This example of the vintage 50s forest green fiesta platter is without chips or cracks or repairs. When under very bright studio lighting sitting upright and not flat, there are noticeable utensil marks on this piece. Please see photos for reference. However, under a normal lighting situation and with food sitting on it, you would hardly notice these utensil marks when it's sitting on a table normally. This is a fairly harder to find color and harder yet to find the platter in this color. Glazed stamp on the back "GENUINE fiesta HLCo USA". Measures 12 1/2" x 9 7/8"
